The WeWIN program is designed to support and enhance the skill sets of Canadian women in the infrastructure field.
The WeWIN mentorship program is starting next week — applications will be available on !
Two classroom-based courses will follow: How to navigate implicit bias in the workplace and Public Speaking. Dates and further details will be available soon.
The WeWIN mentoring program is intended to run on a 9-month schedule/cycle, commencing in October and running until the following May. Mentees and Mentors are intended to be matched on a 1:1 basis and encouraged to meet on a bi-weekly basis however it is up to Mentors and Mentees to determine the frequency of meetings, and all pairs are encouraged to find a rhythm that works for them.
Implicit Bias Training
Catalyst will provide 4-hour workshop sessions, “Interrupt Bias — Become an Inclusive Leader” under a grant with RBC. The first session will be held at RBC's offices in Toronto. Additional sessions are intended to be scheduled in 2020 in other locations where WIN has a chapter. [Details and timing to be confirmed.]
Public Speaking Training
Learn practical public speaking skills. Global Public Affairs will provide half-day training sessions which will include a mixture of theory and practice exercises tailored to be relevant to the infrastructure sector. The first session will be held in Toronto. Additional sessions are intended to be scheduled in other locations where WIN has a chapter. [Dates to be announced and applications will be open soon.]
