Sharon is a debt capital markets professional providing bond financing advice to clients in the infrastructure, power and real estate sectors. Sharon joined Scotiabank in 2005 and in her current role is responsible for structuring and executing P3, corporate and project financings in Canada. Sharon has been instrumental in the underwriting of P3 projects totalling over $9 billion of debt and has closed a number of innovative and award-winning transactions. She has also led a number of notable financings in the renewable power sector, including the first broadly-marketed solar bond financing in Canada. Sharon graduated with distinction from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree, earned a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business as an Ivey Scholar and is a CFA charterholder. Sharon is dedicated to the professional advancement of women and has mentored women in the industry both informally and formally through Women in Capital Markets and Scotiabank’s Parental Advisor Liaison Program.
