Kerra Mruss

Kerra is Manager of Transportation Planning and oversees six engineers, five of whom are women. She has worked in transportation engineering for over 20 years, and enjoys helping clients find innovative solutions to transportation problems. Kerra is on the Social Committee and started the office Employee Committee and Women’s Network. She was the first female Manager in Winnipeg and serves as a role model and mentor to female engineers.

Kerra served on the CITE Manitoba Executive and Technical Liaison Committee. She was Chair of the 2012 CITE Conference and is Strategic Advisor for the 2022 CITE Conference Bid. Kerra is on the EGM Discipline Committee, and a member of the ACEC-MB Board of Directors and Transportation Committee. She was a featured speaker at the 2019 TWICE Annual Reception on work-life balance for women in consulting engineering.

Kerra coaches girls soccer, manages hockey teams, and served on the board of the Winnipeg Women’s Volleyball League, including as President. Kerra plays soccer and volleyball, and has represented Manitoba at the over 30 National Soccer Championships several times. She loves spending time at the family cottage in Victoria Beach, and is the mother of two active daughters who love math like their mom.
