Irene has an accomplished track record with over 20 years’ experience in the transportation and infrastructure industry and has held executive positions within the international multi-sport event industry and broader transportation field. Irene is currently the President and CEO at Transportation Investment Corporation and is leading the organization through the transition from an infrastructure delivery organization to a consumer focused tolling company prepared to take on future infrastructure projects in British Columbia. Before joining TI Corp, Irene was the Vice President of Games Services for the Toronto 2015 Pan and Parapan American Games. She was also part of the organizing committee for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games serving as Vice President, Services. Prior to her experience in the public sector, Irene developed a wealth of experience in the corporate world as a leader in the broader transportation sector with a career at Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz. Throughout her career, she has remained an avid volunteer, volunteering her time for organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association in the Lower Mainland and Special Olympics Canada, and more recently becoming involved with supporting the Rugby Sevens Series organizing committee in Vancouver. Irene is also an active member of the Women’s Executive Network.
