Vickie has been involved as the hands on lead financial advisor and/or debt provider for the winning consortiums for 25 infrastructure projects in Canada since 2005 and has been involved in 60+ bids.
Knowledgeable in both the bond and bank markets, she is a sought after market leader in the structuring and execution of many PPP debt financings and was an early champion of using bond markets.
Vickie joined RBC’s Infrastructure Finance team in 2007, and was appointed Co-Head of the team in 2015. Her experience has included project finance advisory, debt structuring (bond, bank and swaps), loan syndications and corporate debt structuring.
Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets, she spent 12 years working in the debt capital markets (infrastructure and utilities team), loan syndications and treasury credit groups for a major Canadian bank. Prior to that Vickie worked in corporate banking.
She is Co-Chair of the steering committee for the Toronto chapter of WIN, a steering committee member for Women In Energy Canada (WIECan) and a Planning and Construction Committee member for Unity Health Toronto.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, and an MBA in Finance from York University.
